What if Symmetra and Zenyatta had a baby?
I know what you are thinking, first of all, that's weird because Zenyatta is a robot. Secondly, there are some similarities among these heroes. However, I assure you Moira is what they call a game changer. This new Overwatch Hero does it all.
FADE
She is truly a perfect combination of healing and damage dealing and all the while she can slip out of trouble with her fade. As a support main, I understand the struggle of running away from flankers or struggling to stay alive. That is why I appreciate blizzard for coming out with a healer is able to handle flankers while healing her team. Moira fade allows her to escape any situation she is in. By giving her mobility, she can sustain longer than most healers which means you don't have to be confused on where your healing is!
Biotic Grasp
Her biotic grasp (Main healing, right click) allows her to spray multiple team mates that are in need of healing. Although, there is a only a certain amount of biotic energy you may use; it still proves to be helpful. Her biotic grasp (Main damage, left click) is a long range beam. It is similar to Symmetra's right click. The damage you deal to enemy champions not only heals you but also replenishes your biotic energy. This can be especially helpful when facing flankers. You can actually fight flankers by yourself without running and screaming for your life to your team mates. So you can be healing all day everyday while doing damage.
Biotic Orb
On top of all the damage she already does, she has a boitic orb that allows her to send a bouncing sphere. It is ultimately comparable to old school ping pong. You can either choose between a healing orb or a damaging orb that affects multiple players. This ability gives her extra damage or healing depending on what her team mates need which can undoubtedly change the the team fight.
COALESCENCE
Last but not least, Moira's ultimate is a long range beam that either heals your team mates or damages your enemy. This can be helpful when your team mates are being rained on by Pharah ultimate which then allows Moira to either heal team mates or kill that annoying Pharah. This is what I generally enjoyed about Moira. She isn't a helpless healer. She can definitely handle herself in a variety of situations.
Overall, she is as Jeff said at Blizzcon."OP AF." She is going to be the champion that people are going to be complaining about. I highly suggest you play her in quick play to get used to her abilities for competitive.
Yes, this means you don't have to play Mercy all the time anymore! Moira will be offically available to play in competitive November 23rd, 2017. Good luck and have fun Overwatch players!
